Mission

The mission of the Samast Brahmin Society of Canada is to unite Brahmin individuals, families, and organizations across Canada under one inclusive community platform; to preserve, promote, and pass on Brahmin cultural heritage, traditions, and values to present and future generations; and to foster social, educational, and cultural engagement through community programs, events, and collaborative initiatives. The Society is committed to strengthening community bonds, encouraging mutual support, and contributing positively to Canada’s multicultural society while upholding the principles of service, responsibility, and cultural pride as a registered non-profit organization.

Vision

The vision of the Samast Brahmin Society of Canada is to foster a united, inclusive, and culturally grounded Brahmin community across Ontario and Canada, promoting shared values, community leadership, and meaningful participation within Canada’s diverse society.

Objects (Purposes) of the Corporation

The purposes of the Samast Brahmin Society of Canada are to:

1. Advance community unity and engagement by bringing together individuals and families of Brahmin heritage within Ontario and across Canada through social, cultural, and educational initiatives.
2. Preserve, promote, and educate the public and members about Brahmin culture, traditions, heritage, values, language, and history through programs, workshops, publications, and community events.
3. Organize and support cultural, educational, and social activities, including seminars, conferences, youth programs, leadership development initiatives, and community celebrations that promote cultural awareness and social cohesion.
4. Encourage youth development, education, and leadership by fostering ethical values, cultural pride, mentorship, and civic responsibility among children and youth.
5. Promote social welfare and community well-being through volunteerism, networking, peer support, and community assistance programs consistent with non-profit purposes.
6. Collaborate with other not-for-profit organizations, community groups, and public institutions whose objectives are aligned with the purposes of the Corporation, to enhance community impact and public benefit.
7. Carry on its activities without the purpose of gain for its members, and any profits or other accretions to the Corporation shall be used in furtherance of its purposes.
